I am honored to endorse Tiffany Buckner for the position of Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Petersburg. Tiffany is an extremely devoted and committed person to the City of Petersburg as shown by her years of working as a Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney under my administration to working as a Deputy Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the present Commonwealth's Attorney Cheryl Wilson. Tiffany is methodical in her quest for justice as a prosecutor and is a strong advocate for the citizens of Petersburg. She has handled cases on all levels of seriousness to include capital murder cases. Tiffany's sense of community and temperament are the endowments the City of Petersburg needs at this time. In 2017, I was granted the opportunity to complete my criminal justice internship at the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office in Petersburg, Virginia. There I met Attorney Tiffany Buckner. Attorney Buckner took me under her wing early on during the internship. Being her mentee, she taught me time management skills, always pushed me to go the extra mile, and to always persevere and follow my dreams and I have embodied those traits ever since. She is the epitome of strength, confidence, and poise. She will be an excellent Commonwealth's Attorney as she will uphold the mission and aims to serve the community, protect vulnerable victims, and do the hard work that is required.
